About
What do we mean by young? Most of our members are in their 20’s and 30’s but we’ve also had attendees much older than that along with a handful of executives. The Young Finance Professionals was created for the purpose to serve the benefit of the younger generation but in no way do we want to limit our attendance or our membership base. An important goal of our group is networking so if you are older, more experienced or an executive please be open to getting to know our younger members.
Young Finance Professionals (YFP) is a Non Profit 501(c)(3) Organization and a free participation society dedicated to networking among young professionals in the field of finance.
We meet once a month in the Founder’s Room on the 18th floor of the Zions Bank Building located at One South Main St. SLC to hear from a more experienced professional on topics ranging from portfolio management, credit analytics, venture capital, private equity, real estate, career development, corporate finance, investment banking and more.
If you are interested in joining us for lunches and intellectual business discussions please fill out the form on the contact page. We send out e-newsletters for upcoming lunches and other events.
Also, we are always looking for an extra hand especially when it comes to lining up excellent speakers. If you would like to help out in any way please contact us and we will put you to work.
