John Lunt, President and Director of Lunt Capital

John has managed investment portfolios across asset classes for more than a decade.  He has a recognized expertise in constructing portfolios using absolute return investment strategies and alternative asset classes. 

He has been a board member of Utah Retirement Systems, a multi-billion dollar public pension fund, since 2001, and was elected by his fellow board members as board president from 2004-2007.  He was recognized this year by Utah Business Magazine as one of Utah’s Top 40 under 40.  He completed the Program for Advanced Trustee Studies at Harvard Law School. 

John graduated with honors from BYU with a degree in Economics and received an MBA from NYU.
